A once beautiful middle school now put to ruin. This 3 story, yellow-bricked, colossal school building; once a neighborhood site where children would have carried books, papers, back packs and fresh pencils through its halls is now a monumental tribute to decay. Exploring abandoned places was initially an interest because, simply put – they looked awesome. I mean, I was 16 years old – an abandoned barn covered in ivy seemed so cool to me to run around because it was creepy.
On my way into Pennsylvania once, I had noticed a very intriguing country home sat behind some brush, a broken wooden fence stretched perfectly across the front yard.
I’m SICK of people turning photography or any other type of art (but especially photography in today’s society) into a game or competition of “who is better” or who did what/who got to a spot first or who has this or that. Why bring so much negativity?
Trust me; I love a “dead mall” just as much as any other explorer or lover of urban decay, but with Chapel Hill Mall, this surely is NOT the case.
I understand paying doctors, surgeons and nurses for the difficult jobs that they do, but this gets ridiculous.

A decommissioned missile base hides tucked away within the heavily forested Florida Keys. Looking down the old SR-905 in Key Largo, you can barely see the crumbling remains of a former radar site, rusting to dust between hectic overgrowth. The three radars found at this site were the target ranging radar, target tracking radar and the missile tracking radar.
It’s sad, knowing that somewhere along the lives of this home’s former inhabitants, these discs were buried beneath the mess and left behind. I will only post this one image and a single video from the discs, as I do not want to post everything, but rather find the source of these discs.
