Abandoned Days INN

I will be posting a photo album of an explore or explores every day. Some may have a bit of historical information attached, while others will simply be shared to look at. People like to ruin cool things, so unless it’s gone or heavily watched over by an owner, I will not be sharing any other info. Sometimes, I may just not have any history. Very sorry that I will not be able to always share the location, but I do hope that you all understand that the reason is to protect the location from vandals and scrappers who aim to ruin something beautiful and sometimes nearly untouched.
Today’s photo album is one of an abandoned Days Inn found while exploring down south in 2015. How many people recognize the city?
This structure was left in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
Definitely one of the most memorable explores for me. I felt as though I was going to pass out due to not sleeping for over 24 hours, barely eating anything and exploring numerous places from Ohio to here. Making my way off the roof and back down the stairs, I had almost put my hand straight onto a massive wasp. Fun times!
